Frequently asked questions

Should the job description list a salary?

Yes, a range. Listings with a range draw fewer mismatched applicants. Check the market range first, as set out in the salary guide.

Should I ask for a test task?

A short paid task, such as auditing one page type or reading a Search Console export, shows more than a CV. Keep it to a few hours and give feedback.
