Enterprise SEO for IVF and fertility centres: more couples booking a first consultation from search, with success rates your medical director can defend

I run enterprise SEO for IVF centres, fertility groups and hospital fertility units in Malaysia. Couples search for months, in several languages, about treatments, costs and figures that MMC guidance and MAB policy already limit.

What couples find before they find your centre

Couples meet Malaysian success rates with no measure beside them

I searched ivf success rate malaysia on 14 October 2026. The figures ran from a 2019 national live birth rate of just over 30 per cent to nearly 83% clinical pregnancy for one embryo type, and a 2023 feature quoted close to 80 per cent without saying what was measured. Couples compare numbers that do not describe the same thing.

Searches for treatments you cannot offer still reach you

People search egg donor malaysia, surrogacy malaysia and ivf gender selection malaysia. MMC guidance records donation and surrogacy as prohibited under the National ART Policy and rules out sex selection for social reasons. Silence leaves these couples to overseas marketplaces, and a careless page can read like an offer.

Price searches end on marketplaces and old news

For ivf cost malaysia on 14 October 2026, the results were medical-travel marketplaces, guides and a 2019 news report, with no IVF centre's own price page among them. The health minister counted 52 private assisted reproduction centres in 2019, and couples comparing them often meet totals they cannot check.

Why do couples find conflicting IVF success rates for Malaysia?

Because the figures measure different things. A 2019 national figure counted live births, while clinic figures often count clinical pregnancies for one embryo type. Per cycle, per transfer and age band change the number again. Your page wins trust by saying which one it reports, not by reporting the highest.

Where do IVF cost searches end before they reach your centre?

Medical-travel marketplaces and guides, in the results I checked on 14 October 2026. People also split cost by government and private hospital, so couples compare you with hospitals with an IVF unit too. Publish how your estimate is built, stage by stage, and when a written estimate is given.

How should an IVF package page state what a cycle costs?

Stage by stage: consultation, medication, egg collection, laboratory work, transfer and freezing, each marked included or extra. Add testing such as PGT as a separate line, and give the date until which the estimate is valid. Follow-up consultations offered through teleconsultation platforms get a line of their own.

What should a centre say when couples ask whether insurance covers IVF?

That cover depends on the policy, and the couple should check it with their insurer before treatment. List the documents your centre provides for a claim. Policies from medical insurers differ, so the page explains how to ask rather than predicting the answer.

How it works

Typical agency approach versus Enterprise SEO done properly

Typical: The highest success rate you can find on the home page banner.
Done properly: Figures on one definitions page: what was measured, for which age group, over which period and from whose data, matching the explanation couples receive before consent.
Typical: Searches for donor eggs, surrogacy and gender selection ignored.
Done properly: A plain answer to each: what MMC guidance and the national ART policy do not allow in Malaysia, and what your centre does offer instead.
Typical: Fertility as one page on a general clinic or hospital site.
Done properly: A section of its own for couples who research for months, linked to the hormone and semen tests that fertility test labs run before a first cycle.
  1. Audit. I list every success figure, price and treatment claim about your centre, yours or third-party, and check who answers IVF, IUI, egg freezing and cost searches in English, Malay, Mandarin and Indonesian.
  2. Govern. Your medical director, embryology lab head and compliance team agree the permitted-topics map and the outcome definitions with me.
  3. Build. I build the definitions page, the IUI and IVF pages and one answer page for treatments not offered in Malaysia.
  4. Scale. I add egg freezing, testing and cost pages, then Mandarin and Indonesian versions with certified translations.
  5. Report. A monthly report shows first consultations booked from search by treatment and language, and outside pages whose figures still disagree with yours.

Should IUI and IVF share one page?

No. Each needs its own page with its own cost and process, plus one comparison page linking both. People compare them on success rate, cost and difference. Any rate on the comparison page should come from the definitions page, with the same measure, so the two never disagree.

Does egg freezing need its own section?

Yes. People add cost, package and reddit to the search, so it is a family of its own. Storage raises questions IVF pages do not: yearly fees, how long material is kept and what consent covers. MMC guidance requires written consent for storage and disposal, so explain that step.

Original analysis

None of the fertility SEO pages I read for the head query on 14 October 2026 says how success rates may be advertised or names a Malaysian rule. Their percentages are traffic and conversion figures. In the success-rate results, none of the three pages I read gave its figure with measure, age band and year together.

Should a private centre mention public and LPPKN options?

Briefly, yes. Couples search for them, and LPPKN's subfertility clinics offer IUI, IVF and ICSI, as a 2023 report described. A page that names the options honestly and states your own waiting times and process earns more trust than one that pretends they do not exist.

Will this survive review?

The approval chain, the regulator and what SEO will not promise

Who signs off: Lead fertility specialist then Embryology laboratory head, for laboratory and outcome data then Counselling or nursing lead, for wording that echoes consent material then Marketing then Medical director and compliance then Medicine Advertisements Board application.

Regulators that touch your claims: Ministry of Health Malaysia, Malaysian Medical Council, Medicine Advertisements Board.

Constraints on what you can publish

  • MMC guidance says medically assisted reproduction should only be offered to legally married couples (section 2), so no page implies otherwise.
  • Success rates and complications must be explained clearly before written consent (section 4), and outcomes should be shown satisfactory on independent assessment (section 3). Public figures should match that material.
  • The guideline records gamete and embryo donation and surrogacy as prohibited under the National ART Policy (sections 5 and 9), and allows sex selection only where a sex predisposes to a serious genetic condition (section 6).
  • Statistical claims in advertisements should rest on Malaysian data where it exists (MAB 5/2011), and advertisements may not use patients receiving treatment (MAB 12/2007).
  • MMC guidance warns that advertising may raise illusory hopes of a cure (3.1.4). Every pregnancy story on a fertility site carries that risk.

What SEO will not promise

  • A position for IVF, IUI or any other search term
  • A number of consultations, cycles or pregnancies. Clinical outcomes are your doctors' and embryologists' work, not search's
  • A ruling on what is clinically or religiously permitted. MMC guidance, your medical director and religious authorities decide those

This is SEO governance, not legal advice. Your compliance and legal teams decide what you may claim.

Original analysis

MMC guidance already ties public figures to consent: success rates and complications must be explained before written consent, and outcomes should stand up to independent assessment. MAB wants statistical claims backed by Malaysian data. A success-rate page is therefore a definitions page that mirrors the consent material.

How should a fertility centre answer egg donor searches?

Plainly. MMC guidance records gamete and embryo donation as prohibited under the National ART Policy, so the answer is that it is not offered in Malaysia. Then say what your centre does offer, and invite the couple to a consultation rather than leaving them to marketplaces abroad.

What should a page say to couples searching for gender selection?

What MMC guidance says: no selection of the sex of embryos for social or personal reasons, and selection only where a sex predisposes to a serious genetic condition. State that once, without judgement, and point couples with a family history to a consultation on genetic testing.

Should a fertility site address surrogacy searches?

With one short, factual answer. MMC guidance records surrogacy as prohibited by the National ART Policy. Say so, say what treatments you do provide, and do not refer couples to arrangements abroad. A page that avoids the topic leaves the search to agencies with very different interests.

What do couples look for when they search an IVF centre's reviews?

Signs of how they will be treated: waiting times, clarity on cost, how bad news was delivered. Pregnancy stories are out, because MAB policy bars patients receiving treatment from advertisements. Publish the process and the team, and let independent review sites carry experiences.

How can a centre meet best fertility doctor searches?

With profiles that let couples compare facts, since MMC guidance says practitioners must not claim to be the best. Name each doctor's qualifications, specialist registration, subspecialty training and clinic sessions plainly. Add the embryology team with names and roles, because couples ask who handles their embryos.

Risk reversal

What I commit to instead of a ranking promise

A baseline before any work. The keywords, their current positions and their search demand are written down at the start, so there is a baseline to argue with later.
Reporting against that same baseline. Not a fresh set of keywords chosen after the fact because they happened to improve.
The documents are yours. Audits and playbooks are written to be handed to your in-house team or another agency. Nothing is locked to me.
One named expert. Dr. Faiz Azizan does the work. Not a rotating pool of account managers.

When MMC guidance or the national ART policy changes, every page the change touches is pulled from the permitted-topics map and listed for review that same week, before any new page is drafted.

I will not promise you position one. No honest SEO provider can, because Google decides rankings. What I commit to is the process above, written down before work starts.

Is this for you

Who this is for, and who it is not for

This is for you if
  • You run IVF in a dedicated centre or a hospital fertility unit with its own embryology laboratory
  • Your lab keeps outcome data by age group and cycle type that your medical director will stand behind
  • Couples reach you from several states or countries, and many make first contact online
This is not for you if
  • You want headline success rates without the measure or age band beside them
  • You expect donor egg, surrogacy or sex selection searches to be answered as offers
  • Pregnancy testimonials are the centre of your marketing and will stay so

What should an IVF centre ask an agency that markets fertility clinics?

Ask how they would present success rates, and where. If the answer is a headline percentage, a pregnancy story or a countdown offer, they have not read MAB policy or MMC guidance. A good answer starts with your lab data, the measure behind it and who signs the page.

Is fertility SEO different from SEO for other clinics?

In three ways. Couples research for months before a first visit, often privately. They search for treatments Malaysian rules exclude, which need careful answers. And outcome figures sit closer to consent than anywhere else in medicine, so a provider must be comfortable working through your lab head and medical director.

Questions this sector asks

Frequently asked questions

Are outcome data and pages quoted together?

Yes, in one Custom quote. Where outcome data must be restructured by age band before it can be published, that work sits in the quote beside the treatment pages, the languages and the number of centres. The claims audit shows how much restructuring is needed.

Can we publish success rates in the first three months?

Only once the lab head and the medical director have defined them and the application is in. The definitions page is drafted early and goes live when approved. Treatment and cost pages do not wait for it.

Couples ask whether IVF is halal. Can our site answer that?

Not me. People do search ivf halal, and the answer belongs to religious authorities and your medical director. The page can link the religious guidance your centre follows and state which treatments you provide within MMC guidance.

Our counsellors already answer these questions daily. What do you add?

The search side: which of their questions couples type before booking, which pages rank for them now, and one approved page for each. Their daily answers are the best raw material. I turn them into pages the counsellor would sign.

Our agency runs IVF ads. Why change the organic side?

Keep the ads. Their search terms report shows which questions bring consultations, and those become the first organic pages, under the same approved wording, so both channels say the same thing about costs and outcomes.
